Our collection includes jewelry in 316L stainless steel (also called surgical steel) and some in 925 sterling silver. Both are finished with a high quality 18 K gold plating. Because of their hypoallergenic properties, both materials are especially skin-friendly.
Stainless steel is a very robust and strong base material, especially 18K gold plated stainless steel jewelry will therefore permanently have an intense gold tone and will not discolor. Also, they are water resistant, which means they can handle moisture. You can wear them while washing your hands or showering without hesitation. However, you should avoid wearing stainless steel jewelry in chlorinated water such as pools and swimming pools. However, if your jewelry has come in contact with chlorinated water, wash it off immediately with tap water and dry it with a soft cloth.
Sterling silver is very high quality and is therefore often used in jewelry design. However, the material is somewhat more sensitive as it can tarnish easily over time. This is a normal reaction of the material due to the external influences. With frequent or prolonged contact with moisture, the gold plating can fade or even detach from the base material. Therefore, you should not expose your 925 sterling silver jewelry to water ( salt- or chlorinated water).
To enjoy your jewelry for a long time, you should allow perfumes, lotions, deodorants and creams to be fully absorbed into the skin before putting on your jewelry. To preserve the beautiful shine, they should not come into contact with hairspray.
Don't wear your jewelry while exercising, sweat can also attack your jewelry, plus chains could get tangled or scratched.
When you're not wearing your jewelry, it's best to store it in our velvet pouch, a jewelry box, or in a cool, dry place to avoid oxidation and scratches.
We are not liable for damages caused by disregarding the care instructions.
